| 영문내용요약 | This Standard details definitions, methods of measurement, and minimum performance characteristics for access terminals. This Standard shares the purpose of [3] by ensuring that an access terminal can obtain service in any system that meets the compatibility requirements of [3].
Compatibility, as used in connection with this Standard and [3], is understood to mean that any access terminal is able to open data connections in HRPD system. Conversely, all HRPD systems are able to open connections with any access terminal. Test methods are recommended in this document; however, methods other than those recommended may suffice for the same purpose. All the performance metrics in this Standard are meant for non-receive diversity access terminals i.e. for terminals with one receive antenna. For testing of access terminals with receive diversity i.e. with more than one receive antenna, the access terminal shall be configured so that just one receive chain is used for demodulation. |
